Project Description

Education and Skills Development

One of South Africa’s most pressing challenges is the high rate of unemployment among young adults and school leavers. After completing a dedicated primary school program, students face a job market that is stagnant and the challenge of falling short in ‘soft skills,’ vocational skills, and experience.

The Vision

We hope that our programs will increase our beneficiaries’ employability, allowing them to live a well-rounded self-sustaining life. We intend to combat poverty at its root by providing education and skills. These training programs are central to Kamohelo Community Development Centre’s mission of community development.

Our Purpose

Individuals are developed and empowered through systematic and structured interventions, primarily practical (vocational) training and experiential learning. By better preparing them for work, study, or entrepreneurship, we hope to eventually connect them with our development partners through career, study, or business opportunities.

Annual Month of Giving

Many businesses are hesitant to invest in their local communities because they believe training is prohibitively expensive. Education, entrepreneurship, and physical and social infrastructure are all important factors in the development of community regions. Improving employability and livelihood opportunities, reducing poverty, increasing productivity, and promoting sustainable development all rely on skills.

Change a life today

As long as poverty, injustice & inequality persist, none of us can truly rest. It doesn’t take much to change a life, Get in touch today and start making the difference.
